UK Job Now (ukjobnow.com) is a set of free UK pay and employment calculators, run by a small, independent team. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use a calculator, contact us, or otherwise visit the site.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. This site carries no adverts and no affiliate links, and we don’t run Google Analytics or any similar tool.
Any cookie this site does set is strictly technical — for example, one that helps a form submit securely, or one a caching or security plugin needs to serve the page correctly. None of these identify you personally, and none follow you to other websites.
Embedded content from other websites
We don’t embed content from other websites, such as videos or social posts, so there’s nothing here that tracks you on another company’s behalf. Where we link to GOV.UK, Acas or similar organisations, that’s a plain link, not an embed — you leave our site when you click it.
Who we share your data with
We don’t sell or share your data with advertisers — this site doesn’t run advertising or affiliate schemes. If you contact us, your message goes to our team only. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, processes technical data (such as server logs) needed to keep the site running, under its own privacy policy.
How long we retain your data
If you use a calculator, the figures you enter are sent to our server as part of loading your result — this is what lets every calculator work even without JavaScript — but we don’t store them, link them to you, or use them for anything beyond showing you that one result. If you email us, we keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your query and for our own records, then delete it.
What rights you have over your data
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Since the only personal data we hold is what you send us directly — normally an email address, if you’ve contacted us — this is usually a quick request to fulfil. Email info@ukjobnow.com and we’ll deal with it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Where your data is sent
This site is hosted with Hostinger. Any data involved in running the site — such as server logs — is processed by Hostinger under its own privacy policy. We don’t transfer your data anywhere else.
