Role Overview

As a Staff Software Engineer – Full-Stack, the successful candidate will take a leading role in designing and developing critical features across the Stotles platform. They’ll work across the stack—from frontend interfaces to backend services—ensuring the platform is scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.

This role is ideal for someone deeply technical, product-oriented, and excited by complex problems. They will work independently while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities as Staff Software Engineer

• Lead the development of major product features across both frontend and backend systems

• Design, build, and maintain scalable architecture and high-quality code

• Work closely with product teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences

• Mentor and support other engineers, contributing to a high-performance engineering culture

• Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions

Skills & Experience Required

• Extensive experience in full-stack development within modern technology environments

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)

• Deep understanding of API design, system architecture, and distributed systems

• Experience working with cloud services, databases, and scalable service-oriented architecture

• Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers

• Strong product thinking with the ability to balance usability, performance, and technical excellence

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
