Role Overview

As a Security Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in protecting people, property, and premises at assigned locations. Working independently or as part of a wider security team, the officer will carry out patrols, monitor activity, and respond promptly to incidents. This role is ideal for someone observant, professional, and committed to delivering high standards of security service.

Key Responsibilities as Security Officer

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure site safety and security

• Monitor entrances, exits, and CCTV systems

• Prevent unauthorised access and report suspicious activity

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a professional manner

• Complete accurate incident and activity reports

• Provide a visible and reassuring presence on site

• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and clients

Skills & Experience Required

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence (required)

• Previous experience in a security role (preferred but not essential)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach

• Physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for long periods
