Role Overview

As an SIA Door Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at assigned premises. Working on the front line of security operations, they will control access, manage crowds, prevent incidents, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring full compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.

This role is ideal for a confident, observant, and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in protecting people and property.


Key Responsibilities as SIA Door Supervisor

  • Monitor and control entry and exit points of venues and premises

  • Verify identification and ensure only authorised individuals gain access

  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter anti-social behaviour

  • Manage queues, crowds, and potential conflict situations calmly

  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances

  • Carry out regular patrols and security checks

  • Record incidents accurately and report to management as required

  • Deliver high standards of customer service at all times


Skills & Experience Required

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential)

  • Previous experience in a similar security role (preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Professional appearance and attitude

  • Good observation and problem-solving skills

  • Right to work in the UK
