Role Overview
The Senior Client Accountant will take responsibility for managing property accounts across a dedicated portfolio, ensuring all financial processes run smoothly and professionally. Key Responsibilities as Senior Client Accountant
Manage end-to-end client accounting across a designated property portfolio
Prepare property management accounts, financial statements, and monthly reports
Oversee annual service charge budgets and reconciliations
Process income, expenditure, supplier payments, and banking transactions
Ensure accuracy and compliance with RICS, client requirements, and internal controls
Collaborate with property managers, surveyors, and clients to resolve financial queries
Maintain up-to-date financial records using property management systems
Assist with audits, year-end accounts, and client reviews
Identify process improvements and support junior staff when required
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a Client Accountant within property management (essential)
Strong understanding of service charges and commercial or residential property accounts
Proficiency in financial systems, accounting software, and Excel
Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
