Role Overview

Wilson James is seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor to join their team in West London. This is a permanent position with a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off, from 09:00 to 21:00, offering a competitive hourly rate of £15.30.

The Security Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role involves managing contract security personnel, overseeing incident response, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities as Security Supervisor

  • Lead, manage, and develop contract security personnel, ensuring professional conduct and continuous training.
  • Oversee security activities, ensuring all incidents are handled in line with policies and procedures.
  • Deliver team briefings and communicate updates on events, procedures, and security standards.
  • Maintain and update Health & Safety files, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide first-line response to all incidents, including fire, security, and health and safety issues.
  • Support the client’s incident management processes and act as a key liaison during emergencies.
  • Plan and supervise staff deployment, including rosters, holidays, and absences.
  • Ensure proper use and audits of radios, pagers, and other security equipment.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and contribute to planning and incident reviews.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to handle incidents and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Experience in training, team development, and compliance management.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional with excellent attention to detail.

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • Permanent, full-time contract.
  • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (09:00 – 21:00).
  • £15.30 per hour.
