Role Overview
Magenta Security Services is looking for an experienced Security Supervisor to join their team at a corporate site in Dartford, Kent. This permanent role involves night shifts on a Thursday to Sunday pattern, averaging 48 hours per week.
The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing manned guarding operations, managing access control, conducting inspections, and ensuring the safety and security of the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a professional security setting.
Key Responsibilities as Security Supervisor
- Supervise manned guarding and reception duties.
- Manage access and egress control for staff and visitors.
- Carry out regular and irregular site patrols.
- Monitor CCTV systems and ensure accurate reporting.
- Operate the site switchboard and handle enquiries professionally.
- Conduct routine health and safety checks.
- Provide first aid support when required.
- Write clear and accurate incident and daily reports.
- Interact with customers, tenants, and visitors, delivering excellent service.
- Oversee deliveries, manage enquiries, and escalate issues as needed.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security licence, plus CCTV licence.
- Minimum age 18+ with proof of right to work in the UK.
- Fire Marshall certification and a full, clean driving licence (preferred).
- 5-year checkable work or education history (required for vetting).
- Strong customer-facing experience and excellent communication skills.
- Professional appearance and confident manner.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Approachable, diplomatic, and able to handle challenges calmly.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a flexible attitude.
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Thursday to Sunday, night shifts (18:00 – 06:00).
- Average 48 hours per week.
- £13.17 per hour.
