Role Overview

As Security Supervisor, the successful candidate will support the Director of Security in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the security team. Responsible for protecting colleagues, guests, and property, they will combine professionalism with discretion to deliver exceptional service and maintain a safe environment across the hotel.

This role is suited to someone with strong leadership skills, proven luxury hotel security experience, and the ability to remain calm, proactive, and professional under pressure.

Key Responsibilities as Security Supervisor

• Lead the smooth and professional operation of the security team across the hotel
• Safeguard guests, colleagues, and property while maintaining Nobu’s warm service philosophy
• Support and lead investigations, producing clear reports and liaising with management or external agencies
• Deliver regular training, fire drills, and crisis management exercises
• Assign and schedule duties to balance team needs with hotel operations
• Act as the point of contact for escalated guest or colleague issues, managing each situation with calm authority
• Collaborate with department heads to embed a culture of safety and security
• Contribute to developing and implementing security SOPs and health and safety standards

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a luxury hotel security role
• Proven ability to lead both in-house security staff and external contractors
• Valid SIA licence, emergency first aid, IOSH, and fire safety certification
• Strong knowledge of OPERA, Microsoft Office, and security protocols
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to act discreetly under pressure
• A proactive, professional, and guest-focused approach that reflects Nobu values

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Permanent, full-time role (42 hours per week)
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
• Salary: Up to £44,000 including service charge and benefits
