Offering 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, three banqueting suites, two bars, squash courts, a billiard room, and extensive libraries, the Club provides a unique and prestigious environment for nearly 5,000 members.

Role Overview

The Club is seeking an experienced Security Person to join its dedicated team. This full-time position involves working straight shifts, typically from 2.30pm to 11.00pm, across five days a week. Occasional weekend or public holiday work may be required.

The successful candidate will ensure the safety of staff, members, and visitors, as well as protect the Club’s facilities. This role is suited to someone vigilant, organised, and confident in maintaining security standards within a high-profile establishment.

Key Responsibilities as Security Person

  • Monitor the staff and goods delivery entrance, ensuring all visitors, staff, and contractors follow correct sign-in procedures
  • Maintain constant presence at the back door, keeping the area clean, tidy, and secure
  • Check in agency staff and oversee staff adherence to breaks and rules
  • Carry out building security checks and surveillance via CCTV systems
  • Ensure proper refuse disposal and recycling processes are followed
  • Enforce health and safety procedures at all times
  • Support the wider team by maintaining order and discipline in staff areas

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a similar security role (5 years preferred)
  • Valid SIA licence (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must meet strict grooming standards (clean-shaven, no visible tattoos, no long hair)

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • £30,000 per year plus up to 25% package
  • Straight shifts, typically 2.30pm–11.00pm
  • Full-time, five days per week (part-time options available)
