Role Overview

As a Security Officer – Submarines, the successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding people, property, and sensitive assets across a highly secure site. Working as part of a professional security team, the officer will ensure strict access control, conduct patrols, and support site safety procedures in line with regulatory and company requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who is vigilant, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure working environment within a critical infrastructure setting.

Key Responsibilities as Security Officer

• Control access to site, verifying identification and authorisation

• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, perimeters, and restricted areas

• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches promptly

• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports

• Support emergency evacuations and safety procedures

• Enforce site security policies and regulations at all times

• Provide a professional and visible security presence

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a security role (preferred)

• Valid SIA licence or ability to obtain one

• Strong observation and communication skills

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• Basic IT skills for reporting and monitoring systems

• Willingness to undergo security clearance checks

Shift Pattern & Pay
