Role Overview
Soho Farmhouse is seeking an experienced Security Officer to join its dedicated team. The role focuses on maintaining safety and security across the estate, ensuring the wellbeing of members, guests, and staff in line with Soho Farmhouse policies. Security Officers are ambassadors for the Soho House brand, contributing to a safe, welcoming, and memorable environment for everyone on-site.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, proactive individual with strong communication skills and a background in hospitality or security.
Key Responsibilities as Security Officer
- Ensure the safety and security of members, guests, and staff at all times
- Monitor access points and patrol the estate as required
- Apply all security policies and procedures consistently and professionally
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies with a calm, solution-focused approach
- Liaise with management and team members to support smooth daily operations
- Represent the Soho House ethos, promoting professionalism and member satisfaction
Skills & Experience Required
- CP License and FREC 3 Qualification (desirable)
- Full clean UK driving licence
- 1–3 years’ experience in hospitality or a similar role (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, approachable, and able to engage effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver results under pressure
- Flexible, with a proactive “yes, yes, yes” mentality
- Comfortable working nights and shifts in a fast-paced environment
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Salary: £40,000 per annum
- Rolling rota: 7 days on, 7 days off
- Night shifts
- Subsidised transport from Chipping Norton (OX7) and Banbury (OX15 & OX16)
