Role Overview

Bradley & Co is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join their team at a prestigious site in the heart of the city. Working a 4-on-4-off night shift pattern, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of on-site security systems, safeguarding tenants, contractors, and visitors, and delivering a professional front-of-house presence.

This role is ideal for someone reliable, observant, and proactive, with the ability to balance vigilance and customer service in a high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Security Officer

  • Book on and off for duties, completing regular check calls in line with site instructions
  • Maintain accurate Daily Occurrence Logs, visitor records, and electronic security systems
  • Ensure access control processes are carried out effectively and professionally
  • Greet and assist tenants, contractors, and visitors, issuing passes and providing guidance
  • Respond promptly to alarms, fire evacuations, bomb threats, and emergency recovery processes
  • Conduct thorough site patrols and report incidents according to escalation procedures
  • Support the Site Supervisor and Client with daily operations and communications
  • Maintain a professional appearance and act as a reliable front-of-house presence
  • Uphold Bradley & Co standards and compliance with industry regulations

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a security role (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Basic IT and record-keeping skills
  • A polite, presentable, and approachable manner

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • £13.15 per hour
  • 4 on / 4 off night shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
  • Full-time, 48 hours per week
  • In-person, prestigious city location
