Role Overview

Sea Containers London is seeking a professional and proactive Security Officer to join its team. In this role, the Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and property, all while delivering a warm and welcoming service.

This position is ideal for someone guest-focused, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities as Security Officer

• Monitor hotel premises to ensure the safety of guests, visitors, and employees
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Conduct regular patrols and security checks across all areas of the property
• Liaise with hotel management and external agencies when required
• Maintain accurate security records and incident reports
• Support the guest experience by assisting with enquiries, directions, and information

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a hospitality or security role (preferred)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Excellent attention to detail with strong observational skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive and reliable approach
• Smart, professional appearance at all times

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Salary: £35,228 per year + service charge
• Full-time role, based on scheduled shifts
• Location: Sea Containers London, South Bank
