Role Overview
The London EDITION is currently seeking a Security Officer to join its team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of the hotel, its guests, employees, and property. From patrolling and monitoring alarms to responding to emergencies and assisting guests, the Security Officer helps create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
This position is ideal for someone observant, professional, and dedicated to safety, who takes pride in protecting others while enhancing the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities as Security Officer
- Patrol the property and monitor all areas for safety and security
- Assist guests and employees as needed
- Monitor and respond promptly to alarms
- Lock and secure entrances when required, managing keys responsibly
- Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
- Respond to accidents, contact emergency services, or administer first aid/CPR as required
- Support staff and guests during emergency situations
- Complete detailed reports for incidents and daily activities
- Resolve safety hazards and escort unwelcome individuals if necessary
- Collaborate with managers and colleagues to maintain smooth hotel operations
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong observational skills with a proactive, protective mindset
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, first aid, or CPR (preferred but not essential)
- Previous security or hospitality experience desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A guest-focused attitude with the ability to handle situations discreetly and tactfully

- Full-time position (non-management)
