Role Overview
As a Saturday Assistant, the successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the smooth running of the Edinburgh City office. They will provide front-of-house assistance, handle enquiries, and ensure that clients receive a friendly and professional welcome. Key Responsibilities as Saturday Assistant
Act as the first point of contact for clients visiting the office
Provide a warm, professional welcome and support with general enquiries
Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team members
Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, printing, and document organisation
Ensure the reception area and meeting spaces are clean, tidy, and fully prepared
Support the team with diary management and appointment scheduling
Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Maintain a polished and professional office environment throughout the day
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in customer service, administration, or reception roles (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently on quiet days and as part of a team during busy periods
