Role Overview
As a Sales Advisor at Shurgard, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right storage solutions for their needs. You’ll provide expert advice in person, by phone, and online, all while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the store. This is a great opportunity for someone friendly, self-motivated, and eager to grow within a stable and supportive business.
Key Responsibilities as Sales Advisor
- Provide professional and friendly service to customers in-store, by phone, email, and online
- Advise and assist customers in selecting storage units and services to meet their needs
- Process rentals, merchandise sales, and contracts accurately
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
- Perform store maintenance tasks and ensure a clean, organized work environment
- Manage general admin duties including filing, reporting, and document handling
- Support daily store operations and contribute to team performance
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in retail, consultative sales, or customer service (preferred)
- Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Reliable, honest, and committed to delivering excellent service
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook and Word desirable)
- Open to learning and keen on internal growth opportunities
- Willing to carry out light cleaning and maintenance tasks
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Fixed shift working hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am–6:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am–4:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am–3:00pm
- Contract Type: Fixed Term
- Guaranteed monthly salary (specific rate shared during hiring)
