Role Overview

SPS Global is currently seeking a highly professional Residential Security Officer to join their team at a prestigious high-net-worth residence in Kensington, London. This permanent, full-time position involves working four days on, four days off, with both day and night shifts, as part of a dedicated residential security team.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong situational awareness, integrity, and a background in private or government security. Officers are expected to remain alert, presentable, and discreet while ensuring the safety and privacy of the client and their property.

Key Responsibilities as a Residential Security Officer

• Maintain a visible, vigilant security presence throughout each shift
• Monitor and manage all access and egress points, ensuring only authorised individuals enter the property
• Respond professionally to incidents or emergencies, following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct and log regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, and updating the incident reporting system
• Record the issue/return of keys, fobs, and monitor all contractors and visitors on site
• Support the safety and comfort of clients while maintaining a discreet profile
• Accurately complete daily reports, make check calls, and follow communication protocols
• Collaborate with site management to implement any procedural or operational changes
• Maintain professional appearance and performance standards at all times

Skills & Experience Required

• 2+ years’ experience in a professional security role
• Valid SIA licence
• First Aid at Work qualification (minimum)
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and incident-reporting skills
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and follow clear operational procedures
• Must be physically capable of regular patrols and assisting in emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Military or police background
• Enhanced first aid certification (e.g. FREC3 or higher)

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Four On / Four Off rotation (day and night shifts)
• Overtime available
• £30,331.50 per year
• Expected start date: 25/08/2025
