Role Overview
DPD is seeking a highly skilled Regional Security Manager to oversee security operations across depots in Liverpool and Middleton. This leadership role ensures that company security policies are implemented effectively, audits are completed to standard, and proactive solutions are delivered to safeguard people, property, and operations.
The position is ideal for an experienced Security Manager with a proven track record in multi-site organisations who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
Key Responsibilities as Regional Security Manager
- Implement company security policies and strategies in line with national standards
- Advise and support depot management on physical, operational, and administrative security
- Ensure regional security action plans are in place and followed
- Conduct audits, reviews, and investigations with detailed reporting
- Manage incident reviews and ensure corrective action is taken
- Liaise with external agencies, including Police and HM Customs, for investigations
- Analyse theft trends and deliver preventative measures
- Oversee manpower planning, rota management, recruitment, and training of security staff
- Ensure guarding objectives are achieved through both employed and agency personnel
- Communicate industry best practices and new security technologies to the team
Skills & Experience Required
- Extensive experience as a Security Manager in a large, multi-layered organisation
- Proven leadership with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Flexible, proactive, and resilient with a hands-on approach
- Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel between depots

Shift Pattern & Pay
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
- Locations: Liverpool & Middleton depots
- Salary: Excellent basic salary + attractive bonus scheme (based on performance)
