Role Overview

As a Part-Time Security Officer, the successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards of safety and security across the assigned site. They will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets, while providing a visible, professional security presence at all times.

They will work independently but as part of a supportive team, trusted to carry out essential security duties that help keep the site safe, compliant, and running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone reliable, alert, and ready to make a visible difference in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities as Security Officer

• Provide a professional and visible security presence on site

• Control access and egress to the premises

• Carry out regular patrols and security checks

• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and breaches

• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports

• Ensure site security procedures and policies are followed

• Deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors

Skills & Experience Required

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licence

• Previous security experience (preferred but not essential)

• Strong communication and observation skills

• Calm, professional, and approachable manner

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Part-time position
