Role Overview
Britsafe is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multi-site security and cleaning contracts across the Midlands and beyond. This leadership role focuses on ensuring compliance, service delivery, and client satisfaction, while supporting and developing site teams to consistently perform to the highest industry standards.
This position is ideal for a confident and driven leader with proven management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities as Operations Manager
- Lead security and cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with SIA Approved Contractor Scheme standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with blue-chip clients through regular site visits and meetings
- Manage rostering, scheduling, and staff performance via Timegate and other reporting systems
- Support, motivate, and train teams to deliver outstanding service across multiple sites
- Oversee compliance, payroll, and reporting processes using advanced technology systems
- Drive client retention and growth by ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous management experience in security and/or cleaning (essential)
- Valid front-line SIA licence (essential)
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- High IT literacy and confidence with scheduling and reporting systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, remain calm, and make quick decisions under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Willingness to travel, including monthly visits to York HQ
Salary & Location
- Competitive salary starting from £47,000 per year
- Midlands-based (remote with regular travel across sites and monthly HQ visits)
