Role Overview

Mysoft is entering an exciting phase of strategic growth and is now seeking a commercially minded Operations Director to join its senior leadership team. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for an experienced operator who brings a mix of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

The Operations Director will play a pivotal role in scaling the business sustainably—aligning people, processes, and systems to support long-term success. The ideal candidate will be solution-focused, pragmatic, and comfortable challenging existing practices to enable continuous improvement and smarter ways of working.

Key Responsibilities as Operations Director

  • Lead and optimise operational strategy to drive efficient, profitable service delivery
  • Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Oversee successful ERP project execution, governance, and risk management
  • Empower the consultancy team to deliver high-quality, commercially viable solutions
  • Strengthen the support function by embedding a customer-centric, knowledge-sharing culture
  • Improve operational effectiveness through streamlined systems, collaboration, and clear performance metrics
  • Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing team, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous learning

Skills & Experience Required

  • Senior-level experience in operations, programme delivery, or service management within an ERP or enterprise software consultancy (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of ERP implementation—experience with Sage X3, Intacct, NetSuite, SAP B1/ByDesign or similar platforms preferred
  • Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, including consultants and project managers
  • Solid grasp of project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models
  • Experience in capacity planning, risk management, and service optimisation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Strategic thinker with high emotional intelligence and a collaborative, pragmatic leadership style
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience required
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, ITIL, Six Sigma, or ERP product training are a plus
