Role Overview

Enigma is seeking an experienced High-Profile Security Officer to join its elite team. This position involves safeguarding high-security client sites, ensuring the highest levels of safety and protection. Candidates must be prepared to undergo rigorous vetting procedures, including achieving SC Security Clearance. For this reason, applicants must be British Citizens or hold dual British nationality.

Key Responsibilities as a High-Profile Security Officer

  • Control access points, verifying identification for all site visitors and vehicles
  • Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms, responding swiftly to incidents
  • Conduct regular patrols and routine security checks across the premises
  • Report incidents, accidents, and alarm activations to the control room
  • Liaise with control room staff and support site management with security issues
  • Carry out random searches of baggage or vehicles entering/leaving the premises
  • Maintain accurate records and security-related documentation
  • Deliver excellent verbal and written communication in all duties

Skills & Experience Required

  • A valid SIA Front Line Licence (essential)
  • Eligibility to obtain SC Security Clearance (essential)
  • Minimum of 1 year’s security experience
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to complete and pass an English and numeracy test after applying
  • Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • 12-hour shifts across weekdays, nights, and weekends (exact rota confirmed at interview)
  • Pay rate: £12.72 per hour
