Key Responsibilities as Electrical Design Engineer

• Produce detailed electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation

• Design electrical systems in line with project specifications and applicable standards

• Carry out calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts

• Support multidisciplinary teams throughout the design and delivery phases

• Review and approve electrical documentation and design changes

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements

• Assist with problem-solving, testing, and commissioning support as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Proven experience in electrical design within an engineering or industrial environment

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices

• Experience using electrical design software and CAD tools

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

• Strong communication and organisational abilities
