Key Responsibilities as Data Centre Security Officer

• Control access and egress to the data centre and restricted areas

• Conduct regular patrols of internal and external areas

• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems

• Verify identification and authorisations of staff and visitors

• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies

• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident records

• Enforce site security procedures and company policies

Skills & Experience Required

• Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor licence (essential)

• Previous security experience, ideally within critical infrastructure or corporate sites (preferred)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Good IT literacy for report writing and system use

• High level of attention to detail and vigilance

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach

• Right to work in the UK
