Role Overview – Curriculum Manager: Community Skills
Are you an experienced leader in adult education with a passion for community engagement? We’re looking for a proactive and dedicated Curriculum Manager to lead our Adult Community Skills provision. This is a key strategic role focused on delivering high-quality, inclusive learning that supports both personal growth and professional development across our local communities.
This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills, curriculum insight, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, delivery, and quality assurance of adult education programmes

Collaborate with employers, stakeholders, and community partners to shape a responsive curriculum

Manage teaching staff, timetables, and resources to meet strategic KPIs

Promote learner engagement, progression, and wellbeing

Deliver 7–12 hours of teaching per week, modelling outstanding classroom practice
What We’re Looking For

A degree or significant vocational experience in a relevant subject area

Full teaching qualification (or working towards)

Strong leadership background in adult education or community learning

Deep understanding of adult education funding and labour market needs

A student-centred approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
