Role Overview – Curriculum Manager: Community Skills

Are you an experienced leader in adult education with a passion for community engagement? We’re looking for a proactive and dedicated Curriculum Manager to lead our Adult Community Skills provision. This is a key strategic role focused on delivering high-quality, inclusive learning that supports both personal growth and professional development across our local communities.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills, curriculum insight, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and quality assurance of adult education programmes

• Collaborate with employers, stakeholders, and community partners to shape a responsive curriculum

• Manage teaching staff, timetables, and resources to meet strategic KPIs

• Promote learner engagement, progression, and wellbeing

• Deliver 7–12 hours of teaching per week, modelling outstanding classroom practice

What We’re Looking For

• A degree or significant vocational experience in a relevant subject area

• Full teaching qualification (or working towards)

• Strong leadership background in adult education or community learning

• Deep understanding of adult education funding and labour market needs

• A student-centred approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
