Role Overview
Aviva is seeking an experienced Corporate Security Manager to lead and enhance corporate security across the organisation. This role is central to protecting people, premises, information, and reputation, ensuring that security risks are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners, the Corporate Security Manager will shape and deliver robust security strategies aligned with Aviva’s business objectives. This role is ideal for a confident security leader with strong judgement, strategic thinking, and the ability to respond decisively in complex situations.
Key Responsibilities as Corporate Security Manager
Develop and implement corporate security strategies, policies, and standards
Lead security risk assessments, threat analysis, and incident investigations
Oversee physical security, access control, and protective measures across sites
Act as a senior point of contact for security incidents, emergencies, and crisis response
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and external agencies
Manage and monitor third-party security providers and services
Deliver security awareness training and promote a strong security culture
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry security requirements
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in a corporate or enterprise-level security management role
Strong knowledge of physical security, risk management, and incident response
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Experience managing suppliers and external security partners
Relevant security qualifications or professional certifications (desirable)
