Role Overview: Contract Manager – Corporate Security (Canary Wharf)
Enigma Security Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced and proactive Contract Manager to oversee a high-profile corporate security contract based in Canary Wharf. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a seasoned professional with a background in managing large-scale security teams and delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will lead operations, build strong client relationships, and ensure contract performance meets and exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities as Contract Manager
- Oversee full management of a large-scale corporate security contract
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of 20+ security officers and supervisors
- Act as the main point of contact for the client, fostering strong working relationships
- Ensure contract compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and all operational requirements
- Conduct regular audits, site inspections, and risk assessments
- Manage rotas, absences, and staffing levels in collaboration with HR
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team development
- Control budgets, monitor overtime, and ensure cost-effective operations
- Produce regular operational reports, incident summaries, and reviews
- Support continuous improvement across the contract and promote best practices
- Ensure full compliance with Enigma policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Assist with contract renewals, mobilisations, and TUPE where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contract or operations management, ideally in the security sector
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams (20+ staff)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with corporate clients
- Excellent planning, organisational, and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of security operations, surveillance systems, and site risk management
- Valid SIA Licence (required)
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Flexibility to provide out-of-hours support when needed
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience managing corporate security contracts in high-profile environments
- First Aid at Work and Fire Marshal certification
- Familiarity with TUPE, payroll systems, and contract mobilisation processes
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Full-time, Permanent Contract
- Based in Canary Wharf
- Salary: £50,000 per year
