Key Responsibilities as Buyer (Sourcing Specialist)

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in line with project specifications

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suitable suppliers and vendors

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve best value

• Raise purchase orders and manage procurement documentation

• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and compliance

• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and project teams to support delivery

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a buyer, procurement, or sourcing role

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Understanding of supply chain and procurement processes

• Excellent organisational and communication abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

• Experience within engineering, energy, or industrial sectors (preferred)
