Role Overview
As a Cyber-Security / Safety Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that cyber-security and functional safety principles are effectively embedded across products, systems, and operations. The role will focus on managing risks, defining security strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and cyber-security standards throughout the product lifecycle.
This position is ideal for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for protecting critical systems in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities as Cyber-Security / Safety Manager
Develop and implement cyber-security and functional safety strategies
Lead risk assessments, threat analysis, and hazard identification activities
Define security and safety requirements for systems and products
Ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory frameworks
Support product development teams with security and safety guidance
Conduct audits, reviews, and assurance activities
Manage incident response and continuous improvement actions
Provide training and awareness on cyber-security and safety best practices
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Proven experience in cyber-security and/or functional safety management
Knowledge of safety and security standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 27001)
Strong understanding of risk management methodologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a complex, regulated environment
Professional certifications (preferred)
