Role Overview

As a B2B Trade Marketing Director, the successful candidate will lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies that strengthen Reach plc’s position with B2B partners and advertisers. This senior role focuses on driving demand, improving partner engagement, and supporting revenue growth through effective marketing initiatives.

Working closely with sales, product, and commercial leadership teams, the B2B Trade Marketing Director will ensure that marketing strategies align with business objectives and deliver clear value to partners. This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven marketing leader with strong commercial instincts and experience operating at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities as B2B Trade Marketing Director

  • Develop and lead B2B trade marketing strategies to support revenue and growth targets

  • Create compelling value propositions, go-to-market plans, and sales enablement materials

  • Partner closely with sales teams to drive pipeline growth and partner engagement

  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and performance data to inform strategy

  • Oversee campaigns that promote products, solutions, and partnerships across channels

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and ROI measurement for trade marketing activity

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across marketing, commercial, and product teams

  • Lead and mentor marketing team members, fostering high performance and innovation

Skills & Experience Required

  • Extensive experience in B2B trade marketing, commercial marketing, or related disciplines

  • Proven track record of supporting revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities

  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making

  • Strong communication and presentation skills at senior leadership level

  • Experience within media, digital publishing, or B2B services (preferred)
