Role Overview

As an Affiliate Sales Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving affiliate revenue across Reach plc’s extensive digital network. This position focuses on building strong relationships with affiliate partners, optimising commercial performance, and identifying new growth opportunities.

The role is ideal for a commercially minded individual with a strong understanding of affiliate marketing, performance data, and digital monetisation. Working closely with editorial, commercial, and external partners, the Affiliate Sales Manager will help maximise revenue while maintaining content integrity and audience trust.

Key Responsibilities as Affiliate Sales Manager

  • Manage and grow affiliate revenue streams across multiple digital brands

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate networks, brands, and agencies

  • Identify new affiliate opportunities and negotiate competitive commercial terms

  • Analyse performance data to optimise campaigns, content placement, and conversion

  • Collaborate with editorial teams to align commercial strategies with content output

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

  • Ensure affiliate activity complies with industry regulations and internal guidelines

  • Produce regular performance reports and revenue forecasts for stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in affiliate marketing, digital sales, or performance partnerships

  • Strong commercial awareness and revenue-driven mindset

  • Excellent analytical skills with confidence using performance data and reporting tools

  • Ability to build and manage long-term partner relationships

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Experience within digital publishing, media, or e-commerce (preferred)

Working Pattern & Location

  • Full-time, permanent role

  • Hybrid working model with flexibility between office and home

  • Office location based in the UK (role dependent on team requirements)
