Role Overview
As a Senior Sales Development Representative (Senior SDR), the successful candidate will take ownership of generating high-quality sales opportunities and driving the early stages of the pipeline. This role combines independent lead generation with teamwork, strategic thinking, and the ability to engage senior decision-makers in the cybersecurity space.
The Senior SDR will work closely with Business Development Managers and the wider sales organisation, ensuring that qualified prospects are identified, nurtured, and moved through the early stages of the sales cycle. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with proven SDR experience, strong communication skills, and a desire to progress within a fast-growing tech company.
Key Responsibilities as Senior SDR
Identify, research, and target prospective clients across multiple industries
Engage decision-makers through outbound calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn activity
Qualify leads based on business needs, challenges, and cybersecurity requirements
Book high-value discovery calls and product demonstrations for the sales team
Maintain accurate activity logs within CRM systems
Support junior SDRs by sharing best practices and contributing to team development
Build a strong understanding of AppCheck’s vulnerability scanning platform
Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to refine messaging and outreach strategies
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as an SDR or BDR within the technology or cybersecurity sector
Strong ability to communicate confidently with senior-level stakeholders
Target-driven mindset and consistent track record of meeting KPIs
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing high-volume outreach
Ability to learn and articulate technical concepts in a clear and compelling way
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
