Role Overview

Bechtle is seeking a Security Business Development Manager to spearhead cybersecurity growth across the UK and Ireland. This role is central to developing new opportunities, enabling account managers, and strengthening partnerships with leading cybersecurity vendors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding Bechtle’s cybersecurity proposition, providing sales teams with the tools and confidence to position cutting-edge solutions. This is a dynamic opportunity for a professional with a strong track record in cybersecurity business development who is ready to influence strategy and drive results.

Key Responsibilities as Security Business Development Manager

  • Lead cybersecurity business development initiatives across the UK and Ireland
  • Support account managers with client engagement and solution positioning
  • Provide commercial insight on pricing, margins, and competitive positioning
  • Deliver account manager enablement and run bi-weekly stakeholder meetings
  • Build and leverage vendor relationships to unlock sales support and co-selling opportunities
  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of Bechtle’s cybersecurity services

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven track record in cybersecurity or business development roles
  • Experience leading or supporting teams
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and vendor programs (e.g. endpoint, cloud, MDR/XDR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials)
  • Ability to build peer and partner relationships across regions
  • Experience in B2B environments and multi-market exposure is beneficial

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • £35,000–£57,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Full-time role with hybrid working: 3 days in office, up to 2 remote after probation
  • Location: Chippenham, London, Manchester, with some travel to Dublin
