A leading construction project in Slough, Berkshire, is seeking dedicated Night Security Officers to join its long-term security team. Role Overview
As a Night Security Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in protecting the site, preventing unauthorised access, and maintaining a secure environment. Officers will carry out regular foot patrols, combining security duties with essential health and safety checks. This role is ideal for someone reliable, vigilant, and confident in working as part of a large team.
Key Responsibilities as a Night Security Officer
- Monitor site access and prevent unauthorised entry to restricted areas
- Conduct regular security and safety patrols across the premises
- Ensure the wellbeing of staff, visitors, and contractors on-site
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and project stakeholders
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid SIA licence in Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection (essential)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent customer service focus and problem-solving skills
- Professional judgement and integrity at all times
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Night shifts, averaging 48–60 hours per week
- Average of 54 hours per week on a long-term contract
- £14.00 per hour
- Immediate start available
