Role Overview

MSI UK is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to take ownership of its cyber security strategy and operations. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, responsible for safeguarding digital assets, shaping security policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Working on a 12-month fixed-term contract, this full-time position offers a hybrid/remote model with travel to key national sites as required. The Cyber Security Analyst will act as the organisation’s go-to expert, providing both strategic direction and hands-on technical support.

This position is ideal for someone with proven cyber security expertise, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities as Cyber Security Analyst

  • Lead the design, strategy, and implementation of cyber security policies and practices.
  • Oversee the organisation’s cyber security posture, ensuring compliance and resilience.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, taking proactive steps to minimise risks.
  • Educate staff and stakeholders on cyber security awareness and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organisational goals.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry developments.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in cyber security leadership with hands-on technical expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and security best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • 12-month fixed-term contract.
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week.
  • Hybrid/remote with travel to national sites as required.
  • Salary: £53,608.48 – £58,969.32 (dependent on experience and skills).
