Role Overview

As a Residential Security Officer at One Blackfriars, SE1, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents, visitors, and colleagues at a luxury development overlooking the River Thames. With 274 apartments and exclusive amenities including a spa, underground parking, and a 24-hour concierge service, this role offers the chance to work in a high-profile environment where exceptional service and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities as Residential Security Officer

• Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors
• Monitor and manage site security, including regular inspections and reporting of health and safety concerns
• Support and collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and the concierge team to maintain smooth daily operations
• Uphold health and safety standards across the development
• Maintain a professional appearance with company-provided uniform
• Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies or incidents when required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a security role within residential or customer-facing environments (preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail
• Understanding of health and safety processes within residential developments
• Team-oriented with the ability to build strong working relationships
• Reliable, professional, and confident when working under pressure

Shift Pattern & Pay

• 4 days on / 4 days off
• Day shifts: 07:00 – 19:00
• Permanent contract
• £30,554 per annum
