Role Overview: Operations Manager – Security Division

ProFM Group is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to join its Security Division, covering sites across London and the Home Counties. This is a vital leadership role focused on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, client satisfaction, and service excellence.

Ideal for someone with security sector experience and a drive for operational success, this role combines team leadership, compliance oversight, and hands-on management in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities as Operations Manager

  • Lead day-to-day security operations across multiple contracts
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure contract performance and SLA compliance
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage project mobilisations, event security, and officer deployment
  • Quickly address service issues and implement improvement strategies
  • Coordinate closely with HR to recruit and retain team members
  • Ensure full adherence to all company and client policies and procedures
  • Manage officer schedules using workforce management systems
  • Carry out in-hours and out-of-hours site visits to support security teams
  • Provide health & safety insights to senior leadership and ensure legal compliance
  • Represent the ProFM brand with professionalism and integrity

Skills & Experience Required

  • Valid Front-line SIA Licence (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in the security industry (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Confident using IT systems and scheduling tools
  • Ability to build rapport with both clients and team members
  • A flexible, hands-on approach to working hours and responsibilities
  • High levels of professionalism and time management
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • £30,000 – £35,000 per year
  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Core hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
  • Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and events
