Role Overview
As a Store Manager at KAUAI, you’ll take the lead in delivering operational excellence while creating an inspiring environment for both customers and crew. From staff development to stock management and customer satisfaction, you’ll oversee all aspects of store performance. This role is perfect for a driven, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about health, food, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities as Store Manager
- Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring exceptional service and smooth performance
- Create staff schedules and assign duties efficiently
- Maintain optimal staffing levels and recruit new team members as needed
- Train, coach, and develop team members to perform at their best
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Manage stock levels through ordering, rotation, and regular stock takes
- Monitor store performance, control costs, and work to meet sales targets
- Lead sales promotions and support visual merchandising
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Complete daily operational tasks and management checks on time
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role, ideally in food service or hospitality
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Knowledge of food preparation and hygiene standards
- Food Hygiene Certification (required)
- Espresso machine experience (advantageous)
- Calm, organised, and detail-oriented approach
- Passion for health, nutrition, and customer satisfaction
