Role Overview

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join our hybrid team in Leeds. You’ll be at the core of our tech revolution—designing, building, and evolving platforms that support massive global operations. This role is ideal for someone with DevOps expertise, cloud-native skills, and a passion for automation, security, and scalable infrastructure.

You’ll work with modern tools like AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Istio, ArgoCD, and more in a collaborative and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities as Platform Engineer

• Champion Reliability: Build observability and security into every system

• Accelerate Delivery: Maintain modern CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Orchestrate Infrastructure: Power our Kubernetes environments and data platforms

• Support Production: Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations

• Raise Standards: Document processes, drive best practices, and shape platform policies

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)

• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes administration and orchestration

• Background in DevOps and building SDLC pipelines (GitOps preferred)

• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Splunk, New Relic, etc.)

• Security-first mindset with a passion for Agile delivery and cross-functional teamwork

Shift Pattern & Location

• Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

• Hours: 37.5 hours/week

• Work Style: Up to 80% remote with collaborative in-office time
