Role Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and emotionally intelligent General Manager to lead one of our exceptional pubs in London. You’ll be the heartbeat of the venue, managing day-to-day operations, inspiring your team, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel at home.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and values independent thinking, creativity, and authentic hospitality.

Key Responsibilities as General Manager

• Lead and inspire a dynamic front- and back-of-house team
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and foster community engagement
• Manage staff performance, scheduling, and development
• Oversee stock, suppliers, and cellar management
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and operational excellence
• Drive sales and profitability while preserving our core values
• Represent the brand with pride and professionalism

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven management experience in a pub, bar, or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• High emotional intelligence and a true “people person”
• Passion for craft beer and customer service excellence
• Organised, reliable, and commercially aware
• Ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-moving environment

Shift Pattern & Salary

• Full-time role (49-hour contract)
• £40,000 base salary + up to 50% annual bonus (OTE: £60,000 per year)
• Day and night shifts, including weekends
• Tips and service charge included
