Role Overview – Floor Manager
We’re looking for an experienced and energetic Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional service at every level. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee daily operations, coordinate floor service, and ensure every guest receives an outstanding dining experience. You’ll bring professionalism, positivity, and presence—making every moment count for our guests and our team.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, people management, and high-performance service in a premium dining setting.
Key Responsibilities as Floor Manager
- Lead and inspire the front-of-house team during service to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience
- Manage table plans, guest flow, and team allocations to optimise both service quality and revenue
- Conduct daily briefings, shift handovers, and performance updates
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams for flawless timing and coordination
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and promptly
- Deliver and uphold brand standards across all touchpoints
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to continuously raise the bar
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Report on service performance and support senior management with operational improvements
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a managerial role in a premium, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven ability to lead large teams and supervise multi-department service
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to think on your feet
- High attention to detail, resilience, and a guest-first mindset
- Full-time availability (5 days/week, including evenings and weekends)
- Passion for hospitality and a respectful, inclusive approach to teamwork
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Salary: £42,500 – £44,500 per year (based on experience)
- Schedule: 8–12 hour shifts, 5 days/week
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent
- Location: Covent Garden, London (on-site role)
