Role Overview: Business Development Manager – Birmingham (Hybrid)
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll drive growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across key sectors including fleet, leasing, and automotive retail. You’ll play a vital role in promoting Engineius’ industry-leading vehicle movement solutions while ensuring long-term client satisfaction through strategic relationship building and proactive account management.

Key Responsibilities as Business Development Manager
New Business Development

Identify and target new business opportunities across key sectors (e.g. fleet, automotive, leasing)

Build and manage a sales pipeline, nurturing leads through to conversion

Deliver tailored presentations and product demos to potential clients
Client Relationship Management

Act as a trusted advisor, aligning Engineius solutions with client goals

Oversee smooth handovers from sales to implementation and account teams

Monitor account performance and usage, identifying upsell opportunities

Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Operations for excellent service delivery
Market Strategy & Intelligence

Keep track of industry trends, competitor moves, and client feedback

Contribute to refining Engineius’ go-to-market strategy

Represent Engineius at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Performance & Reporting

Use CRM tools to track activities, forecast sales, and manage client health

Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Skills & Experience Required

Proven track record in B2B sales and client management (preferably in Automotive or SaaS)

Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Bonus: Experience in fleet logistics or automotive services
