Role Overview

As an Assistant General Manager at Flat Iron, you’ll be at the heart of the restaurant’s daily operations—leading teams, delivering outstanding service, and driving results. You’ll support the General Manager in running a smooth, guest-focused restaurant and help grow and inspire a happy, high-performing team. If you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and love building strong relationships, this could be your next big move.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager
• Inspire, develop, and manage a team with energy and positivity
• Maintain high standards in food quality, guest experience, and cleanliness
• Act as a role model for Flat Iron values: passion, craft, honesty, and warmth
• Support recruitment, training, and team development
• Drive commercial performance and contribute to business growth
• Uphold health & safety, licensing, and compliance standards

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar leadership role in hospitality
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A hands-on, guest-focused approach with great attention to detail
• Proven ability to motivate and develop teams
• Organised, resilient, and commercially aware
• A genuine love for great food and memorable dining experiences

Salary & Schedule

• £51,000 annual salary (Employer provided)
• Full-time position based in London, UK
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends
