Role Overview: Organisational Resilience Manager

As an Organisational Resilience Manager within our Compliance and Assurance team at CTP Headquarters (CTPHQ), you’ll play a central role in helping the organisation prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive events. You will support the delivery of robust business continuity and risk management frameworks across the UK’s Counter Terrorism Policing network.

This role is perfect for someone with strong risk and continuity expertise, outstanding communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities as Organisational Resilience Manager

  • Support the Head of Unit in enhancing Business Continuity and Risk Management programmes
  • Lead and deliver improvement projects to streamline processes and strengthen organisational readiness
  • Work with national and regional partners to embed resilience into planning and operations
  • Develop Business Impact Analyses and coordinated Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
  • Ensure all plans are tested appropriately across the CT Policing Network in consultation with senior leaders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of risk and continuity systems and provide regular assurance
  • Represent CTPHQ at boards, forums, and stakeholder meetings
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Risk matters
  • Facilitate use of Resilience Direct and manage team communication channels
  • Supervise junior staff and support team learning and development

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in business continuity, risk management, compliance, or a related field
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with risk frameworks and continuity best practices
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience supervising staff or leading small teams (preferred)

Salary & Working Pattern

  • Starting Salary: £38,926, including allowances (£35,998 base + £1,928 location + £1,000 non-pensionable)
  • Annual salary progression up to £38,523 base
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Hybrid Working (based across London)
