Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Selfridges Foodhall kiosk in Oxford Circus. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations—from team leadership and service standards to sales growth and performance reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-scaling brand and make a real impact at the heart of the business.

You’ll work closely with the founders and leadership team to deliver best-in-class service, build a culture-first team, and shape the next chapter of Sweet Dee’s Jerk.

Key Responsibilities as General Manager

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Oversee both front- and back-of-house operations with attention to quality and presentation
  • Implement operational procedures, health & safety policies, and food hygiene standards
  • Manage team scheduling, training, performance reviews, and development plans
  • Drive revenue by innovating service, engaging customers, and optimising team performance
  • Track key KPIs, manage budgets, and control stock, inventory, and waste
  • Resolve customer feedback professionally and ensure brand values are upheld
  • Support menu development and lead operational reporting to the executive team
  • Champion a culture of improvement, innovation, and accountability

Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years in F&B management, ideally in a QSR or kiosk environment
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for team development and culture
  • Strong communication skills and operational discipline
  • Able to manage multiple functions and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience with food safety, traceability, and high operational standards
  • Flexible, resilient, and willing to support out-of-hours emergencies if needed
  • Confident working closely with founders in a fast-moving, values-led business

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • Full-time role based in Selfridges Foodhall, Oxford Circus (London W1A 1AB)
  • Salary: £38,000 starting (£35,000–£40,000 depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday with weekend availability required
  • Expected Start Date: 28/07/2025
