Role Overview: Floor Manager

As a Floor Manager at Sports Direct, you’ll lead from the front—motivating teams, elevating the customer experience, and driving commercial performance across your department. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards in visual merchandising, customer service, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities as Floor Manager

• Lead and inspire store teams to deliver exceptional customer service across departments
• Create an engaging and productive work environment through active leadership and on-the-spot coaching
• Drive store performance by exceeding sales targets and improving commercial KPIs
• Maintain strong visual merchandising standards aligned with Sports Direct brand guidelines
• Deliver day-to-day operational excellence and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Support and develop team members through mentoring, feedback, and on-the-job training
• Celebrate individual and team successes while addressing performance gaps with confidence

Skills & Experience Required

• Recent experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to energise and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented, organised, and results-driven
• Passion for retail, sport, and delivering an outstanding customer experience
• Willingness to own your role, take initiative, and strive for continuous improvement

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Full-time, permanent position
• Competitive base salary: £36,545 per annum
• Performance bonuses: Monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual bonus schemes
• Additional commission-based earnings on selected product categories
